Spiritforged is Riftbound: League of Legends TCG's second set and its first official expansion. Its big idea is Equipment: gear that you attach to your units to change or strengthen them. [1] [6]

Spiritforged release date

Spiritforged released in English on 13 February 2026, after its release in China in December 2025. Pre-Rift events, the casual launch events where players open product and build a deck, ran from 6 to 12 February 2026. [2] [4]

The 12 Spiritforged Champion Legends

The set adds 12 new Champion Legends: Azir, Draven, Ezreal, Fiora, Jax, Rumble, Rek'Sai, Ornn, Sivir, Lucian, Renata Glasc and Irelia. [4]

For collectors, the set has 30 Overnumbered cards, and 12 of them have Signature variants. [6]

Spiritforged mechanics: Equipment, Gold and Repeat

Equipment is a type of gear that attaches to a unit you control. You pay the Equip cost shown on the card, choose one of your units and attach the Equipment to it. If the unit leaves the board, the Equipment stays, and you can equip it to another unit. [5]

Two keywords support it. Quick-Draw lets you play an Equipment at Reaction speed and attach it to one of your units. Weaponmaster units let you equip them for one less Power than normal when you play them. [4] [5]

Gold is a single-use token gear. You can use it to pay a Power cost instead of recycling a rune. Cards such as the new Renata Glasc create Gold. [4]

Repeat is an optional extra cost on some spells. If you pay it, the spell's effect happens one more time, and you can choose new targets. [4] [5]
